Who is Jeff Bradbury”

I’m an ISTE+ASCD 20 to Watch Award winner, digital learning strategist, educational broadcaster, author, public speaker, and proud triplet dad. For more than two decades, I’ve worked alongside K–12 educators, instructional coaches, and school leaders to bring practical, classroom-ready technology strategies into the spaces where teaching and learning actually happen.

My work spans the classroom, the coaching office, the district leadership table, the podcast studio, and the keynote stage — and it’s all built on one belief: when educators have the right systems, they have more time, more confidence, and more impact.

Education

With a background in Music Education, Jeff Bradbury began performing in front of live audiences at a very early age and grew to love the opportunities he had working with others. This led him to earn his Bachelor of Science in Music Education and eventually his Masters in Music Performance in Orchestral Conducting.

Jeff completed an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership in 2022 and holds multiple teaching and administrative certifications.

Musical Accomplishments

After several years as a Music Director for orchestras and opera companies in the New York and Philadelphia regions — including a performance at Carnegie Hall, Jeff transitioned from the musical stage to become a Technology Coach in a K-12 school district. In this role, he supported the district’s digital transformation into a Google for Education-focused learning environment. He also developed “Cardinal University”, a standards-focused professional development program designed to foster innovative instruction in the classroom in the district.

TeacherCast
Educational Network

Created as a passion project to assist teachers in understanding educational technology, Jeff recorded the first TeacherCast Podcast in the summer of 2011.

Since then, the TeacherCast Educational Network has been recognized in 180 countries and has amassed a following of more than 50,000 followers on Social Media. With more than 2,000 audio and video podcasts recorded featuring more than 500 EdTech Companies and thousands of educators, TeacherCast is rated as one of the top 50 educational websites.

Instructional Coaching

In 2018, Jeff created the TeacherCast Tech Coaches Network and launched the podcast, “Ask the Tech Coach” to support Instructional Coaches working hand in hand with teachers in the classroom. His work with Instructional Coaches and supporting school districts digital transformation has earned him several international global recognitions including the ISTE Instructional Coaches Award.

Digital Learning
& Innovation

Since 2019, Jeff has supported school districts in Connecticut as a Middle School Technology Teacher, Broadcast Journalism Teacher, Lead Instructional Coach for Digital Learning, and Director of Digital Learning and educational consultant. Currently, he sits on the boards of Connecticut ASCD, and New England ISTE, and is a member of the ISTE Community Leaders, Microsoft Innovative Educators, Google for Education, Lego Education, and ASCD Emerging Leaders professional learning communities and is an ISTE Certified Educator.
